Performing
Peter Savel was an artist-in-residence at Charleroi Danses, where he worked with French choreographer Pierre Droulers. He is now collaborating with the Belgian company Kunst/Werk and the Czech production house danceWatch.
Besides dancing and performing in his own work, Peter is currently working with Belgium-based choreographer Salva Sanchis and performing in his last creation: “Radical Light”. In “Radical Light”, dance and music flirt with one another while revolving constantly around a common pulse: It’s one hour of uncompromising sound and movement at 120 beats per minute.
Since November 2016, Peter works with Belgian choreographer Marc Vanrunxt. Currently, he performs in the piece “Prototype”, which premiered in Concertgebouw Brugge on January 26th, 2017. “Prototype” is a dance performance by Marc Vanrunxt influenced by the "einzelgänger" Lucien Goethals, a pioneer of Flemish electronic music.
